It's an exciting time to be a MTB rider in the beautiful forests of the Batemans Bay-Moruya area, that will soon have some of the newest and most exciting trails in Australia.

The BBMTB Club is here to support the creation and maintenance of trails, to provide fun social and competitive events, and an environment that builds a strong and active MTB riding community in the

Batemans Bay-Moruya area.

Come and participate in our events and make new and lasting connections across the local MTB community.

Brews and News at the Brewhouse Thursday 23 May 530pm - Time once again to catch up with everyone in our local MTB community, including the Mogo Trails project team. Sneak a peak at the latest trail maps, hear whispers of potential opening dates, get the goss on Sea Otter Aus 2025 from the horses mouth, and buy trail builders a beer. Classic format - our pals @brouleebrewhouse provide the snacks, we buy the bevs and chat, peruse club merchandise and make plans for riding our brand new trails very soon. Everyone welcome.

Welcome to our latest gold level partner, Soul Tribe Studios 🧘. Not just a generous amount funding support (thank you!) - BBMTB members will also get access to a free session yoga session customised for MTB riders, and significant discounts after that. Watch out for Soul Tribe appearing at future riding events for pop up stretching, just for us.

Monthly update #17 - April was another big month with 6.6km more added to the total, now into the low 70s. Please note RU12 will be reopened at the end of next week ready for the weekend of the 11th. Snake Track will be closed from Monday 6 May for close to a month for a refresh. This will be the official start on the West side. Please everybody keep off all new trails and respect the bunting. Anything newly constructed or still under construction is easily damaged. Cruising down the new jump tracks for a look may seem harmless, but rolling over the lip of a take-off ramp does do damage that needs to be repaired. Do not walk/roll up lips! If anyone knows anything about a horse rider in the Dog Trap Road area, please get in touch with details or ask them to get in touch with us. There's been not insignificant damage done to freshly built trails from someone riding a horse on them. There's not long to wait now so if everyone does their part we can get the trails open sooner! And finally, sadly we say farewell to one of our favourite trail builders from Next Level. Eric is moving on with his family to WA - all the best aye 🇨🇦 and thanks for leaving your special mark on Mogo Trails (see pic of THAT jump line for example). BTW That’s Ruben in the photo - didn’t have one of Eric!

International Womens MTB Day 4 May BBMTB supporter Batemans Bay Cycles is offering bike cleaning and set up clinics for our members, with the first clinic this Saturday for women members of the club to mark International Womens MTB Day. Learn the basics of cleaning your pride and joy, and set up like bars, grips, saddle and suspension. The first clinic will be limited to 6 places, so book your spot by contacting the club. There will be more clinics, probably monthly, open to all club members for those that miss out this weekend. The clinic is at 2pm at Batemans Bay Cycles, and should go for about 60-90mins. Bring your bike (or feel free to buy one there!).
